Hello Wharfedale Wonders!

Welcome to another great week at RTS!

The theme this week is music and we are using the BBC Ten Pieces at Home for our lessons and ideas. Throughout the week, we will be using different types of music as a stimulus and even our bodies as musical instruments! Through our learning, we will go on a train ride to any destination we imagine anywhere in the world (or beyond) using the music of Heitor Villa-Lobos and will be playful with poetry. Did you know that music can create images in your head? With the music of Mason Bates and the BBC Symphony Orchestra as inspiration, we will conjure up a mysterious creature. I am really excited about the things we are going to learn about this week and I hope you will all be too! There are lots of practical things to do this week and I’m hoping to see your videos as well as some imaginative work.

I know how much you love watching the Wednesday Worship, and this week is going to be just as special as it will feature everyone’s favourite pieces of music – I wonder what yours is.

Over the week, there will be lots of things uploaded onto Seesaw for you to do, so keep a close look at the different daily activities.

MyMaths

Maths this week will cover coordinates, translating and reflecting shapes. I hope you enjoy it.

Have a great week, don’t stop sending me videos and pictures of your work, baking, craft and exercise, as I always love to see what you are up to.

Love Mrs Saunderson and the Wharfedale team xxxx
