Happy Monday Wensleydale Wonders!
Welcome to the last week of this half term. If you all work hard this week, I’ll give you a week off! How’s about that?!
Well done if you submitted your athletics results to Mrs Warby last week. Fingers crossed we’ll do as well as we did in the tennis competition. Some of you worked so hard on this, so thank you!
The learning theme for the whole school this week is
‘Pattern and Shape.’
Remember if you have a sibling in another class, you can work collaboratively with
them on this theme. It was great to see Frankie & Eli and Owen & Aidan doing this last week. I hope that you enjoy the theme this week as there’s some super activities for you to get stuck in to.
There’s lots of number sequencing and patterns in Maths, shape poems and willow pattern in English and lots of other pattern and shape work for you to investigate and enjoy at your leisure throughout the week. Please always look at the timetable for the week. If you’re lucky enough to have a printer at home, maybe it would be a good idea to print out the timetable for the week and tick things off as you do them. I’m very aware that all of your situations are different, so please just do what you can, when you can and make it right for you and your family.
Thank you so much to those of you that have already sent in your photographs. Your parents should have received an email explaining things. We’d like a photograph of you in your school uniform and ideally just from the waist up! We’ll then still be able to all have a photograph of us all together! You have until Wednesday lunch time to get your photographs to me. Please send your pictures to our class email…
Thank you so much to each and every one of you for all of your hard work and for making me smile every day with the super things that you are sending. It was so wonderful to see you SHARING YOUR TALENTS last week! You are an amazingly talented bunch. I enjoyed gymnastics, piano recitals, amazing art work and ping pong tricks to just name a few!
Keep remembering all of our special school values.
You are thought of and missed lots every single day.
Have a great week and stay safe
Love from Mrs Simpson, Mrs Warby & team
