On the 9th of February we
had a World War II day as this is our topic at the moment.
In the morning an expert came in to show us lots of things that people would have used in the war. We found this very interesting and we found out lots of facts. We learnt that it’s not all a joke and lots of people don’t tell the truth about what happened in the war to make it sound better. In the afternoon we went outside and played lots of old fashioned games such as hopscotch and marbles.
Because it was World War II day we all dressed up as evacuee children and some people wore different things associated with the war. We really enjoyed this day and will look forward to doing more about our topic.
