Teaching Assistant

21 hours per week – Band 4 (with SEN allowance) – (Term Time only)

From September 2017

The post is offered as part time, 21 hours per week across 4 days. Depending on the candidate appointed there is a possibility that the post could be made full time.

We are looking for a level 2/3 qualified SEN General Teaching Assistant to join our staffing team at Richard Taylor C of E Primary School with an immediate start.

This post is primarily to support a child with Cerebral palsy, although there will be opportunities to work with other children who have additional needs.  The post will require a working knowledge of the delivery of scripted intervention strategies.  You will be required to work closely with our SENCo and appropriate outside agencies.  The post will involve manual handling as well as managing physical care needs.

The successful candidate will need to work as part of an experienced team.  They will be an enthusiastic, effective team player who will be able to make a significant contribution to the continued development of our school. Working under the direction of the class teacher the applicant will carry out pre-planned work and will be expected to use their own initiative to enable pupils to access the learning activity by application of specific skills and knowledge.

Administration Assistant

Post: Administration Assistant (19.5 hours per week, 3 days – Term Time Only)

Employment type: Permanent Contract to start asap

Pay Scale: Band 4 (SCP 9-13)

Closing date: Monday 25th September 2017. Interviews 28th/29th September 2017.

Location: Richard Taylor C of E Primary School

The trust is looking for an Administration Assistant to join our staffing team at Richard Taylor C of E Primary School, due to the promotion of the previous post holder. The successful candidate will join our existing admin team and will be able to access all required training on start of their contract.

Duties will include school administration, maintaining financial and pupil records. Essential abilities include inter-personal skills, IT skills and applicants must have the ability to show initiative and work independently and as part of a team. School office experience and knowledge of SIMS is very desirable, but strong admin and IT skills is essential. We need an honest, dedicated, flexible and reliable member of staff.
